Fellowship program for Engineering Graduates to build Entrepreneurial Career in the MedTech Sector

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Entrepreneurship Development Program at Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), Visakhapatnam.

Eligibility Criteria:

Indian Nationals only

Any Engineering Graduate / MBBS or equivalent

Incubates of Academic / other incubators

Domain areas: Medical Devices

Candidate should be interested in setting up his / her own enterprise in 6 month’s time.

Age: 18 – 35 years

Duration: Six Months Full-time On-Campus Program

Monthly Stipend: INR 10,000 Per month

Seats: 20

Program Features:

6 Months training program with rigorous industrial training

Scholarship of INR 10,000 per month to each selected candidate for 6 months period.

FAQ’s

1. What am I learning in this entrepreneurship development training

program?

In the six-month

duration of the program, the candidates will be given industrial training on

medical devices. The objective of this programme is to develop the

entrepreneurial abilities and enhance the skill sets required for

entrepreneurship among Biomedical Engineering students and the training

imparted should enable a trainee to establish his / her own enterprise.

2. Who can apply for this program? 

Candidates with

education background in Diploma / B. E/ B. Tech in Engineering / MBBS / M. Tech Graduates are

eligible to take up the training program. Recently graduated or unemployed

candidates can also apply. Students currently pursuing their B.E / B. Tech

aren’t eligible for this program.

3.   Is there any

registration and examination fee for this program?

No, there is no

registration fee for the program. Upon registration, candidates have to attend

the interview.

4. Food, lodging and transportation during the

training period.

Apart from the stipend, the

candidate won’t be provided any additional facilities. The candidates have to

take care of their own expenses. For hostel/room availability, they will be

guided by the team and given options to select based on their requirements.
